The GULF ALARM® Base Mount Short Circuit Isolator is designed to provide automatic short circuit protection directly at the detector base level. Installed beneath compatible addressable detectors, the isolator module protects the fire alarm loop by isolating faulty sections without affecting the operation of the remaining system devices. By containing wiring faults to a limited area, the base mount isolator enhances system reliability, minimizes downtime, and ensures continuous fire detection coverage.
